LHS 2184 Campaign
In 2017, voters in Luverne School District 2184 overwhelmingly supported a historic $31 million school renovation and expansion project. That exciting project was completed in 2023.
The Luverne Education Legacy Fund (LELF), provided the opportunity for Luverne High School alumni and supporters to enhance this project and demonstrate their pride for their school through the LHS 2184 Campaign.
The LHS 2184 Campaign provided resources over and above taxpayer dollars to ensure this once-in-a-lifetime project. It is a remarkable source of pride for Luverne students, community and alumni!
The LHS 2184 Campaign greatly strengthened LELF’s overall efforts to support the following strategic areas at Luverne Public Schools:

- Cardinal activities will be boosted to help our student athletes successfully learn, lead, compete and represent Luverne at local, state and national levels.
- Fine Arts projects and enhancements to strengthen our school’s strong tradition in music, theater, speech, and other programs.
- Campus beautification projects that will welcome students, alumni and guests and exhibit our Cardinal pride for generations to come.
- Alumni recognition opportunities to help connect and celebrate LHS alumni and history through current and new projects and programs.
- Gift levels of $2,184 or more will be forever recognized in a display at the school.
